Beyonce releases new song 'Bow Down'

Check out Beyonce’s website and you’ll notice a new picture of lil’ Bey in a pink “princess” gown surrounded by trophies. The title of the photo: “Bow Down”. “Bow Dow/I Been On” is the latest release from Beyonce. No doubt her hubby’s swag has been injecting itself into her sound since the beginning. “Bow Down” was produced by Hit-Boy (who produced N—s in Paris for Jay-Z and Kanye West) In the song, she says: I took some time to live my life, but don’t think I’m just his little wife. Don’t get it twisted, get it twisted, this my sh-t, bow down b-tches. Bey is feeling cocky and rightfully so as she sits a-top the entertainment world. This is definitely the year of Queen Bey, although you wouldn’t know it by this track.

Marriage matters in Detroit

Dismiss all of the negative talk you've heard about relationships and marriage. Marriage is a great thing and Detroit is here to prove it. More than 300 communities, spiritual and business leaders along with civic groups and couples alike will lock hearts and minds to celebrate National Black Marriage Day on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at The Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History. This celebration marks the 10th anniversary of the day which was first launched in Washington, D.C., by Nisa Muhammad, founder of the Wedded Bliss Foundation. The national initiative encourages African Americans to embrace marriage as an institution that has long been on the decline within this community by highlighting the deep-rooted historical role marriage has played among African Americans, as well as the reality that there are still black men and women who, day in and day out, meet, fall in love, get married, and stay together. Lamar and Ronnie Tyler are the founders of Black and Married with Kids.com. Black and Married with Kids is a highly interactive website that promotes positive images of marriage and relationships within the African American community. "Ronnie and I sat down in December 2007 to create something that…

First Lady Michelle Obama is now the latest public figure to have her personal financial records leaked online by a hacking website. According to the Associated Press, the undefined website posted Mrs. Obama's credit report, social security number, phone number and credit card information. She's now among 16 other A-list entertainers and politicians — including Beyonce, Jay-Z, Kim Kardashian, Donald Trump and Vice President Joe Biden — to have their detailed personal and financial information disclosed. TMZ reports that a message on the site, titled "The Secret Files, may reveal the motive behind the crime. "Blame your husband, we still love you, Michelle," it reads. President Barack Obama responded to the security breach in a recent interview with ABC News. "We should not be surprised that if you've got hackers that want to dig in and devote a lot of resources, that they can access this information," he said. "Again, not sure how accurate but ... you've got web sites out there that tell people's credit card info. That's how sophisticated they are." The FBI is currently investigating the case, although the organization has not been able to confirm the accuracy of the information. As the saga continues, we will be…

For nearly 13 years fans of the romantic comedy The Best Man have patiently waited for a sequel, and now the wait is finally almost over. In a recent interview with ABC News, Terrence Howard shared details about the film's plot and the new surprises viewers can expect the second time around. "I think it's going to be amazing film and I get teary-eyed thinking about it because there's some tragedy in it. That's all I'll say," Howard said at a press conference to promote his latest film Dead Man Down. But, despite trying to keep his composure, Howard couldn't resist but to reveal more. He shared that the film's original director, Malcolm D. Lee, is back and that the sequel's plot has a new, dark twist. Recently my husband and I were talking about the human will to mastery. The conversation started as a discussion of the attraction people have toward precision tools as they advance in a craft. For instance, I was noting how, as I get deeper and deeper into my knitting hobby, I get pickier about the needles I use, and I find I'm accumulating a variety of little tools (row counters, cable needles, stitch holders, needle sizers) that I didn't even know about – and wouldn't have understood the use of – when I was starting out. Justin Timberlake may have served up the smoothest diss ever to Kanye West during his "Saturday Night Live" performance. Last month during a show in London, West went on a freestyle rant and brought up Timberlake's collaboration with Jay-Z, "Suit & Tie," saying, "I got love for Hov, but I ain't f--kin' with that 'Suit & Tie.'" On Saturday night, Timberlake appeared to subtly respond to West's rant by switching up his lyrics a bit, TMZ notes. While performing "Suit & Tie," Timberlake changed the lyric "S**t so sick got a hit and picked up a habit" to "My hit's so sick got rappers acting dramatic." Known for Jimmy Choo shoes, Jason Wu gowns and J. Crew gloves, First Lady Michelle Obama has won over fashion fans and emerged into a style icon ever since she set foot in Washington. However, there's one prominent fashionista she has still yet to win over — British designer Vivienne Westwood. In a recent interview with the New York Times, the 71-year-old called the First Lady's taste in clothing 'dreadful.' "Don't talk about her. It's dreadful what she wears," she said. "I don't want to talk about it. Really, I can't. She's a very nice-looking lady, but it's a nonstarter regarding clothes that suit her." Although the Commander in Chic is known for recycling outfits, which Westwood recommends, she says Mrs. Obama has yet to reach the fashion heights of former First Lady Jackie O. "Jackie Kennedy was a different matter altogether," Westwood said. "It just has to suit her and be something that makes a human being more glamorous. That's what fashion is there for. It's there to help, not just to make you look more conservative." What do you think of Vivienne Westwood remarks? Is it valid criticism or is she just being a hater? Sound off in…
